Could God ever just give it all up?

i just figure this whole thing is pretty futile, and all this just cause two people screwed up 6000 years ago. But if they didn't screw up, we'd just be lounging in Eden which would get pretty boring after a while, too. So it all seems pointless and I figure God can't keep this up much longer. Maybe He'll decide to create another Earth and start all over, or maybe He'll try something utterly new, like create a world for Himself to live in, and maybe test Himself rather than poor creatures He Himself created without their ever asking to be created and then putting them through a punitive existence.
