If Jesus and God were one-in-one..?

Then why did Jesus eat, sleep and drink? AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, if Jesus is God, then why was Jesus (a human) subject to temptations by the devil? I am seriously questioning my faith in my corrupted religion known as Christianity and converting to something more sane. Also, if Jesus and God EXISTED TOGETHER then why doesn't Jesus know everything? In Matthew 15:9 it states ",But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Vain means producing no attempt, and that was Jesus talking right there, so he is basically stating It is futile to worship him, and that the new testament was made by men and corrupted over a period of hundreds of years. I am basically convinced to turn my back as a christian, and I am looking for a better religion. A religion that teaches you not to worship God's creation, but God himself.
