What video games do you recommend?

I would like to buy a game to hold me off until Assassins Creed Revelations. Call of Duty(s) And Battlefeilds are out of the question (also any Assassins Creed games). I like all genres except musical and sport related. I own a PS3 and I'm pretty fond of the exclusives Sony has to offer. Do know of any games that you think I would like?
