Programs like frostwire?

Ok, im possibly looking for a new program. i think frostwire might be giving my computer a lot of virus's and cookies. everyone on my computer (u log onto ur accnt on the computer i guess?) has frostwire, and only mine is messed up. when my dad wonloaded it for me, it went onto everybodies desktop. now when i open mine, and download a song, it's ALWAYS a voice saying i won something. can i fix it? and whats a program, safe, free, easy to use, lots of music of all genres, etc.????
